Note from the Universe: The importance of birthdays


Never underestimate the immense importance
of someone’s birthday, Sweet Angel,
to that same someone,
on that very day.

It’s like, really, really HUGE.

Especially when you appreciate that they chose it,
probably one million years ago,
surrounded by the wisest of the wise,
scared to pieces by rumors of tigers, volcanoes,
and cough medicine.

Yet encouraged, nevertheless,
by tales of romance, adventure, and…
you.

Really.
